1849 2nd Anglo-Sikh war was fought at Gujrat. This was the last war between the Khalsa forces and the British.
1915 Revolt within India against British occupation. Sikhs played a major role in this revolt
1921 Sri Nankana Sahib's keys and control was handed over to SGPC.
1924 Shaheedi Saka Gangsar Jaito, more than 500 GurSikhs were fired upon by the State Authorities, many were killed, yet the Jatha remained undeterred and reached Gurduara Tibbi Sahib.
1983 Sikhs Legislatures resigned due to failing of talks between government.
