Mata Khivi
In a little while Mata Khivi Ji came from Sanghar. At this time Maae Veraae was looking at the street for the approaching sangat. When she saw Mata Khivi, she went and embraced her: - "Congratulations Bhabhi (brother’s sister)! Heartiest congratulations! Come and meet that Lord, who once told you, "You will not be separated, but how? Lord knows how." Come and meet the one who is united. He will also unite you according to his will. After saying this they both embraced each other again and then left for the house. Mata Khivi touched the doorsill with her forehead. The dirt touched her temples, which was waiting for Mata Khivi to come so it could attach itself to her brow. Now she stepped forward and all the sangat which was sitting stood up in respect.
Maae Khivi put her shivering head on the feet [of Guroo Ji]. Guroo Ji placed his hand on her head and said, "Blessed!" Right after Guroo Ji placed his hand on her head, she felt ecstasy, which took her into the lap of God. Meeting Guroo Ji she was unified with the Uniting God to never separate again. Guroo Ji again spoke, "Blessed." Then, Guroo Ji took off his hand from her head. Mata Khivi stood up and said, "Oh Great Giver! Please keep my faith in your wishes and bless me with the blessings of your sight so that I may come from Sanghar everyday to have a little glance of you. If you wish I may just stay at Khadoor and get your blessed sight everyday." The Lord Master opened his eyes and said while addressing Khivi, "When my Lord blessed me with the ladle to distribute the bliss of Shabad, the ladle of distributing food offerings came in your part. So do so!"
Maae Veraae understood this secret and brought a big ladle from the kitchen and placed it in front of Guroo Sahib and said, "Oh Great King! Emperor of Guroo Nanak’s Kingdom! Guroo Nanak gave you the ladle of Shabad with his own hands; please give the ladle of food to my Bhabhi with your own hands." Guroo Sahib looked at Veraae and smiled. Guroo Ji then picked up the ladle and blessed it to Khivi Ji and sent her towards the langar. Veraae took her Bhabhi and went towards the langar. She placed a colorful settee and made Mata Khivi sit on it and said, "You have been given the command of distributing langar by the Emperor of Guroo Nanak’s kingdom. So distribute. No one should go from your door with empty hands. Guroo Nanak’s path is of staying liberated while living a family life. Your husband is an ascetic, and he has made you an ascetic as well but with a family life as well, blessed is Guroo Nanak!"
Next day the Sangat of Lubanas and Sondhe Shah reached there from Dongar along with wheat, rice, sugar, coarse and refined wheat flour, ghee and many other food supplies loaded on bullocks. They presented them all to Guroo Ji. There was jostling crowd and splendor all over Khadoor.
