AMRITSAR SAHIB, PUNJAB - The senior medical officer for Guru Nanak Dev (GND) Hospital, Amritsar released an incriminating medical report on Punjab Police detainee Kulwant Singh, who has suffered life threatening injuries while being brutally tortured in Police custody earlier this month.
The medical report was directed to the Court of Civil Judge Bagicha Singh, JMIC Amritsar, and indicated that Kulwant Singh’s condition continued to be critical and was currently being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
The report stated that Kulwant Singh was suffering from kidney failure, respiratory problems, and had swelling of the face, eyes, and legs. The report also cited factures on his legs and feet – clear evidence that the patient was a victim of torture.
Earlier this month, the human rights organization Lawyers for Human Rights International (LFHRI), had filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on behalf of the tortured Sikh youth.
LFHRI lawyer Navkiran Singh has demanded criminal action against the Punjab Police officers guilty of torturing Kulwant Singh.
In a previous press statement, GND Hospital physician, Dr. Saurabh Dhanda had acknowledged that Kulwant Singh has received electric shock injuries to his ears and private parts, and his abdomen also had injuries with indications of “severe beating with batons.”

Punjab Police, aka drunken countrymen have lost the sense of humour and are not any less than Cannibals!
Falsehood, Crime, Bribe, posing false cases, fake encounters, false abduction, corruption and the list goes on..
It is hard to decide if the Policemen are Criminals or the Criminals are the Policemen..?
