Dear Editor I'm a regular reader of panthic.org; all its activities and columns are highly appreciated.
I request you to publish this article related to DSGMC educational institutions improvement for the benefit of students.
Dear Sir,
I just want to take a few of your minutes of reading this letter regarding the upgrading of institutes which are run and managed by DSGMC . Nowadays, globalization is taking place at a very high rate. Technology is growing as fast as anything. So it is now our responsibility to teach our children about the latest trends of current technology. For the same DSGMC, Delhi has opened: 1 engineering college at Rajouri Garden, Delhi, one polytechnic college at Vasanth Vihar, and also two ITI colleges. But, as the foreign MNC (multinational companies) are coming to India, more career opportunities are coming up. But for these companies the minimum educational requirement is either degrees of B.Tech or B.E. (engineers).
So our major sincere push should be :
1) To increase the no. of seats (Sikh reservation) in "GTBIT, Rajouri Garden"
2) To upgrade the Guru Tegh Bahadhur polytechnic, Vasanth Vihar to a B.Tech /M.Tech level college
3) To upgrade the ITI colleges run by DSGMC tothe level of B.Tech / M.Tech colleges
Because nowadays no company is asking for diploma graduate engineers, even if the same got a job in some company, for such individuals, growth prospects are not there because their limited qualifications. So, there is an immediate need to open & develop good professional B.tech / M.tech colleges for the Sikh reservation students.
Also, for a long time the Kar Sewa of Guru Harkrishan Medical Institute at Gurdwara Bala Sahib in Delhi is still going on. We need to complete it as early as possible to open the institute for students and sangat.
If the Kar Sewa of this institute is a very difficult task for DSGMC then their contracts has been awarded to some contactor who can get it done in a timely manner, because it is a question of the future of Sikh students.
These are the basic demands and the requirements to date, from the Sikh society for the development of the future of their children. We are requesting the DSGMC, Delhi and all the respected representatives of Sikh religion to take definitive action in this matter
Warm Regards
Sikh Sangat
