Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
Dear Gursikhs,
I am writing in regards to 'Sants' who leave India for our shores under the guise of 'Sants' to depart us of our hard earned money. Last month we had such person visit our Gurdwara Sahib, under the name of 'Sant Baba Satveer Singh Ji' who is said to be on the Ghaddi of Sant Puran Singh Bhuriwale Amritsar Wale.
My family had a close history with Sant Bhuriwale, so close that we represented as their Jatha to raise money for the Parkarma of Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, by order of the SGPC, as expected this is well documented.
Now this current 'Sant' had come over to raise money for sewa of Langar, i cannot remember the exact event it was for, but he claimed it to be a 40 DAY langar which required the use of trucks, stalls etc, etc. In the 2 weeks he was here and travelled the UK, he took in excess of £100,00 (GBP), not a single reciept or transaction was noted down nor any proof of his cause, worst of all he ASKED for certain amounts from the Sangats, even worse he never uttered a single word of the Bani!
I have no qualms about authentic Sants who spread the Bani and accept the Sharda of the Sangat. I would like to find out more about this 'Sant' but have no means to do so, hence my long email to yourselves. I would be intrested if any other persons or organisations have contacted yourselves in regards to this.
Lastly, I would not like this email to go unheeded as this is now becoming common practise everywhere, a would dearly liked to be kept informed of any progress. Also i would like some acknowledgement that this email has been read and noted.
May Whaeguru guide us all on the path of truth.
