11/18/2006 : Threats sent to GURSIKH / Shahbaaz Khalsa Leader
Amritsar Sahib - Bhai Ratinder Singh, who has filed a an anti-defamation case against the editors of 'Singh Garj', DDT's Bhai Ram Singh, Sukhpreet Udhoke, and Baljit Singh/Sandeep Kaur of FatehNama, has received threats from the defendants' supporters that the Punjab Police would be filing up to 15 cases against him and his associates if he does not withdraw his anti-defamation complaint filed in Indore.
It is interesting to note that the Indore courts have sent multiple warrants seeking the arrest of the above defendants for not appearing for their trial, yet the Punjab police has refused to take action to enforce the court's orders.
This case shows the depth of involvement of the Indian Police and security agencies in Sikh religious matters.

11/18/2006 : Daya Singh Lahoria Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison
Patiala, Punjab - Daya Singh Lahoria was sentenced to 7 severs in prison and fined 10 thousand rupees by TADA appointed court. Daya is is blamed for attacking a Patiala Police battalion. Daya Singh was extradited from the US in 1997.
