Arrest Warrant Issue for Bhai Ram Singh DDT and Son
Wednesday 25th of October 2006
Panthic Weekly News Bureau

Indore, MP (KP) - Upon hearing the petition filed by renowned Panthic sevadar and President of GURSIKH, Bhai Ratinder Singh against Punjab Police DGP Virk, the magistrate of Indore once again issued arrest warrants for Ram Singh and his son Rajandeep Singh.

Ram Singh heads a faction of the splintered Damdami Taksal. This is the third time the court has issued arrest warrants for them and yet no arrest has been made. For this inaction, Bhai Ratinder Singh has filed the petition against DGP Virk of the Punjab Police.

Since Bhai Ram Singh is now very close to certain politicians and members of the Punjab Police no action against him is being taken. The court also issued bailable warrants against five other accused in the case. The next hearing will be on the 17th of November where they are ordered to appear. For more information regarding the case against Ram Singh and others please see the following past articles on Panthic Weekly.
