Ragi, again fails to appear, instead sends venomous letter to Jathedars
Sri Amritsar Sahib – In an unprecedented move, the five Singh Sahibans of the Sikh Takhts issued a final ultimatum to heretic Ragi Darshan Singh, ordering him to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib within twenty-two days to seek forgiveness for his transgressions against the Sikh Panth. Despite the efforts of the Jathedars, the Ragi has attacked them on a personal level by comparing them to Massa Rangarr and calling them 'baymukhs'.
The ultimatum, issued as a ‘sandesh’, has given Darshan Singh until January 29th of 2010 to appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib and seek atonement from the Panth. Citing the verses of Gurbani “ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ…”, the Singh Sahibans stated that twenty-two day extension of the summons was being given as a final chance for Darshan Singh. However, the Singh Sahibans cautioned, if the Ragi failed to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to seek forgiveness by the given date, then strict action would be taken according to Panthic norms and traditions – most likely the excommunication from the Sikh Panth.
Calls Singh Sahibans Sinners and Tankhaiay
For the last several days, the heretic ragi had already announced that he would not appear on January 7th; it is highly doubtful that he would appear on the newly announced date at the end of the month. Ragi has publicly stated that he does not recognize the authority of these Jathedars, and went to the extent of even calling them 'paapi', 'tankhaiay', 'baymukh', and compared them to the villain Massa Rangarr. The same letter referrs to Ragi, himself, as 'Singh Sahib.' This venemous statement to Sri Akal Takht Sahib was delived to Sri Akal Takht Sahib by pro-Kala Afghani crony Charanjit Singh Channi of the Shiromani Khalsa Panchayat.

Nevertheless, Sri Akal Takht Sahib has been inundated with requests from Panthic organizations worldwide to take strict action against the blasphemous Ragi for condemning the Sikh Ardaas, contents of Sri Dasam Bani and hurting Sikh sentiments.
Initially, the Ragi was directed to appear at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on December 5th, 2009 before the five Singh Sahibans and provide explanation for the offending remarks he had made about Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at a Rochester, New York Gurdwara.
Having failed to appear on the 5th of December, Sri Akal Takht Sahib then declared the Ragi as a “Guru-Nindak” who, due to ego and self-interest, failed to uphold the respect and maryada of the sacred Takht Sahib.
The Sri Akal Takht Sahib directive further stated that until the Ragi appears in person for atonement, all Sikh organizations, institutions, and Gurdwaras should not allow the Ragi to utilize their facilities.
